Architect & Urban Planner | Human-Centered Design | Sustainable & Participatory Architecture | Neuroarchitecture | Founder, Studio Salviani
Human-centered architecture integrating emotion, participation and sustainability.
Sofía Salviani de Boseck is an architect trained at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and holds a Master of Science in Urban Studies from the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, with a specialization in Neuroarchitecture (Spain, 2026). Since 2022, she has led Studio Salviani in Weimar, Germany.
She works independently in collaboration with interdisciplinary international teams, developing projects at different scales—from urban interventions and housing to single-family homes, interior design, and furniture design.
Her approach combines sustainability, participation, and human-centered design, integrating emotional, sensory, and social aspects into the design process. She has developed more than 50 single-family housing projects (new builds, extensions, and renovations), as well as prototypes of ecological and self-sufficient modular architecture in collaboration with institutions such as the University of Dar es Salaam and the Universidad Nacional de San Juan. These projects—in Africa and Argentina—integrate local knowledge and technologies to develop context-based and replicable solutions.
In recent years, she has incorporated neuroarchitecture and Human Centric Lighting (HCL) into interior design projects, particularly in residential and healthcare environments, focusing on well-being and inclusion.
Her work has been recognized for its sustainable approach and for participatory projects involving children, young people, and families. She is also active as a mentor in international programs related to sustainable development and equity.
